Hello, wonderful backers of The Seventh Crow!
We're running a campaign for two new fantasy novels - one middle grade, one young adult. We're nearing the end of the campaign, and a tiny bit over 200% funded.
To celebrate, we have a great new stretch reward - school visits!
For every $1000 above our goal, Dianna Sanchez will do a free school visit within 25 miles of Cambridge, MA. Supporters can nominate schools (with the school's permission, please!), and we'll choose the winners randomly.
And we're putting aside extra sponsored copies of both books for school and public libraries as well!
Please take a look and see if you'd be interested
, and if there's anyone you know who might like to support some great new titles, and help out schools and libraries in the process, please send them our way :)

Dear fabulous backers!
Sherry will be featured from 6 - 7 pm at an online Fantasy Author event tonight on Facebook.
She'll be joined by Dianna Sanchez and Susan Jane Bigelow, who's campaigns we're launching today. They'll be talking about their work, offering sneak peeks, and some fun prizes.
We hope to see you there!

And more books!
We're thrilled to present two new breathtaking fantasy worlds. Love middle grade books? Love young adult? We have you covered!
A Witch’s Kitchen, a MG fantasy from debut novelist Dianna Sanchez.
Millie's a witch, so why can't she do magic? Despite her mother's best efforts to teach her, every spell Millie tries goes horribly wrong, but she's a fabulous cook.
When Millie conjures chocolate sauce instead of a transformation potion, her mother gives up and sends her to the Enchanted Forest School, where she's bullied by goblins, snubbed by an elf, and has her hat stolen.
Even as Millie's magical talent begins to develop, turning her house ghost into a frog and accidentally charming her entire class, Millie starts to wonder: what if she's not a witch at all?
The Demon Girl’s Song, a YA fantasy from Extrahuman Union author Susan Jane Bigelow.
She wanted adventure... she got a demon and a dying world.
More than anything, Andín dal Rovi wants to escape her small town life, helping her father in the store, watching her younger brother prepare to take the place at University she’d longed for.
Instead of escape, she gets a thousand-year-old demon stuck in her head, and she loses everything – her home, her family and her country.
In the quest to regain her identity, she finds herself racing against time to uncover the secrets of her world – and save it from utter annihilation.

We came home tonight to a box of books! These are the greyscale edition, and we’ll start shipping those out this week.
We’re still (yes, still!!) working things out with the color printer, but right now it’s looking like those should be in next week.
Thanks for your patience with all of this, and we're excited to start printing labels and getting books to you!

We've had a busy few weeks here, but the results are worth it! The illustrations are coming out very well in the printed version. The color proofs should be arriving in just a few days, and we're expecting just as high of quality.
As a note - if you haven't responded to the BackerKit survey, please do so soon. We're still on track for mailing books out in mid-August, and I'd hate for anything to be delayed. We'll be locking down addresses in BackerKit on August 7th so we can start printing labels and getting ready.
If you haven't received the survey, please let me know at [email protected].
